Public verification and staff check-in
Public verification helps establish ticket validity. Recording admission is an operational action handled by the authorized check-in tools; viewing a public result does not grant staff permissions.
Handle exceptions at the entrance
When a ticket is invalid, already used or cannot be checked, direct the guest to the event’s support process. Keep purchase references available and resolve the record before changing admission status.
Integrate only the public contract
The Developer Platform documents the existing public verification endpoint. Custom entry integrations require the appropriate authorized workflow rather than access to private ticket or buyer data.
